Maintenance Mat Care Instructions:
Upon Receipt of Mat:
● It is normal to notice slight openings or a “smiling” effect at the seams when your mat is first unrolled.
● To help the mat settle after shipping, place it face-up in direct sunlight until it lays flat.
● Keep the mat flat whenever possible. If transport is needed, loosely roll it logo side in.
Transportation:
● Always keep the mat flat during storage and transport, if possible.
● If rolling is necessary:
○ Roll loosely, with the logo side in, around the provided tube (if included).
○ Do not roll the mat face-down or logo side out, as this stresses the seams and will void your warranty.
● Never place heavy objects on a rolled mat, as this can damage the seams.
● Use cellophane wrap to secure the mat—avoid all adhesive tapes.
● Your plush mat is fabricated for INDOOR use only, never use your mat in adverse conditions such as rain. This will destroy the product and void your warranty.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
● Vacuum regularly with any roller brush vacuum.
● If soiling occurs spot cleaning is the best practice. Never wet clean, steam clean, or overly saturate the carpet as this will degrade the integrity of the fibers and backing. It will also cause colors to run.
● Recommended cleaners:
○ Spot cleaning: Folex Instant Carpet Spot Cleaner (lightly mist, do not overly saturate)
● Always test your preferred spot cleaner on a small area to test before widespread use.
Warranty Note:
Improper handling, such as incorrect rolling or using adhesive tapes, will void the 1-year warranty covering manufacturer defects.
